The planning and knowledge of the areas we visit are superb! All questions are answered before and during the trip.

Our tours are active and include traveling like locals when in metropolitan areas. They include a variety of activities (historical guided walking visits, cooking lessons, wine tastings, museums, day excursions, picnics, browsing farmers' markets, canoeing/boating, participation in community events, concerts, easy hikes, or whatever else we find that is exciting and fun), as well as built-in free time for travelers to customize their vacation with more visits or more relaxation. There is something for every traveler to enjoy. The nature of these tours requires good health, physical activity, and resistance to climates different from our own.

Go With Friends Guided Tours

General Notes:

We book comfortable and centrally-located lodging according to the region’s traditions and style. Breakfast is included, and even though a number of lunches and dinners are pre-arranged, we leave several meals up to the travelers (on their own or in small groups) for greater flexibility and exploration during free time. Local historical guides help put history, architecture, art, and current culture in perspective. Private transportation is provided on travel days. Entrances to sites are included when part of group activities. Free time is frequently scheduled and optional suggested activities are mentioned to give travelers a chance to customize their vacation. Travelers are responsible for booking air travel from/to the U.S. or their home country.
